I have a big ask from someone...

This would be a huge favor and chesed to me.

I have a bunch of Marriot points expired and when I contacted Marriot about reinstating, they said:

Quote
I am happy to be able to offer you CEC Points Reinstatement Challenge Offer.
An eligible Member (whose Marriott Bonvoy® Points have expired within the last 18 months) may register via CEC to complete 1 Qualifying Paid Stay in 90 days and get their expired Marriott Bonvoy® Points reinstated.
This offer is only valid one time for the life of a Member's Account.

I don't plan on visiting any Marriots in the near future as I am in Israel.

Is anyone visiting a Marriot location anytime soon and can add my name to the room, please?

thank you in advance

Crossposting because I don't know if that was the proper thread to get a response:

What is the process to combine reservations when only the second guest's name is the same? I have an 85k certificate I want to use and would buy a second from someone here for a second night. So, the first night would be myself as the primary guest but the second night, I would only be a second guest. Would I be able to combine those reservations easily?

I believe at check-in is your only option, as a certificate cannot be gifted.
$20 at check in should secure you not having to check in again

Thanks, will just stay in a 50k eligible place. I have multiple of those.
