Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.


NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Probably a silly question but I'm relatively new to the Ink card. When you write "-British Airways (OneWorld) is awesome for short-haul awards. Just 9,000 miles for a round-trip zone 1 or 15,000 miles for zone 2 short-haul award. The zone 3 award for 25,000 miles round-trip can also be a bargain, for example for flights between the west .....", etc., does this all mean transferring to Avios miles? I got those from the British Air card. I'm confused about the British Airways (Oneworld) vs Avios. The same?

You can transfer your UR to Avios - or You can just get Avios points by using your BA CC.

So in the rest of the paragraph when it talks about (I think) 60,000 miles for a trip to Israel, it's referring to Avios? Thanks for the comeback. BTW, my wife went to Toronto from NY on Avios (my first use of my Avios mileage), coach going and business returning (no coach available) all for less than AA miles both ways coach. Negative - can never find availability to Miami Purim time.

I've found that too far out, there's poor availability. Keep an eye out, but look again starting 5-4 weeks before.  It may become available then.
