Impossible to know. One DDFer reported getting theirs. Apparently the IRS will be launching a site for people to enter their DD info (in the event the IRS doesn’t have it) and get an estimated date for receiving their check.

It’s silly to group this by bank. I don’t think everyone with any specific bank (e.g. Chase) will all get their DD on the same day. The bank is only a factor in how soon they process these DDs and show the funds pending/available. The bigger question here is when the IRS will be sending the $$.

That my not be true there has to be some order of who gets first even if it’s done by computers do some list that it processes doesn’t have to be any reasoning

The IRS ?nor sure about that, anyway it obviously is not going out in one ‘blast’ so possible they ‘blasting’ a few banks at a time

I would be extremely surprised if they sorted by bank.

They might be batching out by bank for the smaller banks. But a large percentage of recipients bank with the top 5-10 largest banks in the US. I doubt Wells Fargo, Chase, Citi, BofA, US bank etc are each going to just get one file with all the ACH deposits.

First section is for those who don't traditionally file a tax return to register for stimulus.
Second section (not yet live but hopefully later this week) is to file for direct deposit or change of address.

Might be the case since a lot of the smaller banks are getting ready

Or it’s anecdotal and you just haven’t heard of recipients at the big banks.

Unless you have insider knowledge on what they’re doing, or reports thereof, it’s all conjecture. So far none of the arguments in this thread have (IMHO) been compelling as to explain what exactly they plan on doing and how it already explains who got and who didn’t.

Treasury will be rolling out a website for that soon (will also include ETA for your payment)

You mean whether they’re eligible? The criteria isn’t so complicated.
