crazy would be an understatement. Airtran does not have anything?

Prices are all too high.
I saw a CO flight out of EWR at 9:00 (which I would book one way at 10k miles, and then BA for the way back at 4.5k miles) which is doable, but since it's only a week away, I would need to pay an extra $75, plus the trasportation to EWR. At that point, it may make sense to crash w/ s/o in Queens, and fly out first thing in the morning on Friday.

call aa 12 hoursa before departure and they'll put you on a later flight for free as long as there's a seat open (not only award)

Anytime someone books a AA ticket, you can call AA 12 hours before the flight  to put you on any later flight, even without a reason?

Ok, I just received a much better flight option from my job, this one direct and arriving in Newark at 6:45 am on Thursday.
How long would it take to get to LGA at that hour?

I found many times on AA that availability opened on Sunday mornings, even close to the flight date

Thanks. I'll look out then.

Checking luggage? if not, say you're out of the airport at 730. Could be anywhere from 1:15 to two plus hours
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

When searching LAX-JFK on BA.com, it only shows economy and business class in the drop down menu even though AA runs 3 class planes on this route and I have booked it in the past.

Anyone else notice this? Anyway around it? (Except calling)

can you rebook an BA avios award flight on AA without any fees?
If not, what are the penalties involved?

There is a good thread discussing this, but I can't find it this moment. I think you can change w/o the fees, but search for the thread. It might be this one

If I make a BA reservation for 4 adults including myself (just for the purpose of getting good seat selection with AA platinum) and really there are only three (not me) travelers going on the flight. Will the 3 travelers have any problems at check in without me ? Furthermore will they be able to use my platinum privileges since I was on the reservation ?

Thanks

Problems at check they won't have. I would assume they will get plat bennies (which btw opens interesting possibilities for BA redemptions when AA only has first for *3).
