Love the feeling of figuring out how to work around a stubborn Microsoft Word quirk.
For years I could not figure out why my documents sometimes leave a huge space at the bottom of the page, not allowing me to backspace the paragraph beginning on the following page, even when there is no page or section break.
Today I learned about Widow/Orphan Control, which prevents any part of a paragraph from (r"l) getting separated from the rest of the paragraph. Check this setting off and...wala (though now I feel a little sad for the few lines that were orphaned
