They're definitely coming down. I'm not in the market, but my understanding is that would go for something around 1500.
Which area? O&V area is still much more, from what I understand.
How did it happen? Did more apartments come on the market? There's only 1 or 2 developments that hit the market since then - on Prospect and on Drake
Correct O&V are $1,800-$2,000 but still way down from the $2,500 craziness.
Are people really getting that much, or are those the asking prices in the Masa U'Matan?
How much more? The days of $2-2.5k+ are over. OP asked about 1.5 bath, not 2.
Capitalism. Examples:1. Increase pricing and lack of availability pushed young families to just buy starter homes TR/Manchester. 2. Lakewood losing the luster of affordability meant families moving back from Israel pursued alternative options. Etc.
Isn't 1 and 2 the same? Or are you implying that they didn't move back to the Central NJ area? Where'd they go instead?
