As we ended the other thread by both agreeing the Muller investigation was not a hoax let's see if we can do the same here.
There is no evidence that anything was stolen, including passports. The DOJ/FBI never released any statement claiming they didn't have the passports. Can we agree on those two things and end this?

Trump claimed the DOJ wrongfully took his passports. CBS quoted a DOJ official seemingly denying that. It appears that the quoted official was lying and Trump’s passports were indeed wrongfully seized. Furthermore, there is indeed evidence from an email that the passports were stolen (as wrongfully seizing = stealing).
Can we agree on that and end this?
Illegally seizing an ex-President’s diplomatic passports isn’t like taking a pen or paper clip. It’s likely a prosecutable offense.
