Think of Moving?

Airports:
  • CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
  • The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
  • CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $17-$22/day, and curbside valet parking is $35/day.

  • The nicest hotel in Cleveland is like the Ritz-Carlton downtown. Marriott's Metropolitan at The 9 is also highly regarded, with a bar in an old vault. There is also a Hilton, Westin, and Kimpton downtown.

Transportation:
  • There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required unless you are just going between the airport and downtown.

-2% income tax and full credit if you work outside Beachwood, so if you work in CLE you'll pay CLE 2.5% and owe Beachwood nothing. If you work in Beachwood you'll pay Beachwood 2%.
Does the same apply if you work remote for a company outside Ohio that's not deducting any local taxes - still pay Beachwood 2%?

I never understood people who buy these high end cooked steaks like this from Pom, Breadberry etc. You pay restaurant pricing pretty much but you are not eating it right away and these foods are good medium rare, not heated up.....

That makes it ok to eat subpar food at high end pricing? I personally would not heat up a steak for shabbat

Ok, first off a huge percentage of people like steak well done. I think the conversation can end there about why it's for sale and who buys it. Without the need for anymore explanations I can think of.

Most Americans Order Their Steak Medium or Medium Well.

So you're saying that they sell it medium rare on purpose for people to take it home and make it well done?

The price is not the same, at least in Cleveland there is no tax or tip involved making it 27% cheaper.

The point is that you are paying a premium for cooked food that is not good when warmed up..... And its not Cleveland specific. More pomegranate, breadberry etc.

Food
We used a polar bear suitcase to bring some frozen (pre-grilled) cowboy steaks...
We brought a sous vide to warm up the steaks without overcooking them
