At the request of my parents, I am carefully considering a trip to the states for Sukkos and possibly YK too. If anyone is looking for an apartment in Sanhedria during this period, PM me.
This apartment is lived in. Don't expect fresh paint on the walls. Some cabinet doors are on top of the seforim shrank instead of on the cabinet... You get the idea. On the other hand, you can pay less!
Primary specs: 2 bedroom, somewhat bigger than average (my arnona bill says 62 meters).
Porch out from the living room - though you have to step out carefully - and I can build you my sukkah, which is 3 by 2 meters and has its own table. Note that the porch is the roof of a supermarket and any fences were put up by the previous tenant - a determined teen can probably take them apart...
You can use my linen and tablecloths, such as they are. We have plenty of younger kids toys (we have a gan in the house) to use, though kids books are mostly in Ivrit (we have some English books too, and plenty for adults). Washing machine and drying rack (dryer is there but doesn't work), and there is a dry-cleaners downstairs and a seamstress next door (Israeli). Milchig and fleishig sinks and counters, but only fleishig oven.
One bedroom has two smaller beds and a smaller mattress, and the master bedroom has two larger beds (I think they are twin) and also a crib.
The apartment is a half-flight up from the street and there are shuls within a minute of walking and a large, cheap supermarket right outside, as well as a bakery, fruit store and nuts/candy store. Centrally located to local buses and a ten minute walk from intercity buses to every Charedi city in EY.
I am happy to send pictures to anyone seriously considering the apartment. (I'll show you all the chipped paint!)
The apartment owner will want to see you (on Zoom, I assume) before you can sign. I would also be happier if someone living in EY can vouch for you.
As said previously, the available dates are not set in stone. I can time my own departure to your arrival if required, etc. The earliest I can leave is September 18th (Tzom Gedalya), and the latest I can stay away is October 19th (5 Cheshvan).
