For the future if you want to show someone the proper format for tagging things you can put the bbc between a [nobbc][/nobbc] tag.

E.G. [nobbc][Url=google.com]link[/url] [/nobbc]

i want to cancel my amex platinum CC. in order to get the $450 annual fee reimbursed do i need to cancel within 60 days or within 90 days? also when i cancel do i keep the MR points or do i need to sell them beforehand?

after 60 days it gets prorated, if you don't have another card linked to that account you will lose the points.

Im flying air france and the second leg is Delta. I have tons of points on Virgin Atlantic which are partners with delta. ( i guess delta and Air France are also partners) Does that mean i can get anything in regard to status?

Status is usually acquired with paid flights.
