Yes, but the rumors are that the buisness plan is not to turn a profit for a  number of years... i didnt see the numbers so i cant answer that however any numbers that have been floating around don't seem to make any sense.  have u seen the numbers or heard accurate info?

before the got off the ground they were 3 million over the original budget which was millions

Imo its the same with gourmet glatt i have so many friends who once they started with gourmet glatt will come all the way across town just for them. Case in point my wife unless shes desperate won't shop elsewhere. Every time i go the place is relatively full. Theyre bringing a whole new experience to the lakewood scene and what seems to me is ppl are drinking it in.
Shloimys is deff suffering... kosher west is suffering... npgs as well. ..

if GG was such a necessity and is offering something so lacking in this town why do they need any help getting ppl into the store? IMO they came to town with the wrong intentions

Ime everything is very comparable. At least in NPGS you can assume kashrus

We actually do send in an order for the sale items. But otherwise coop is better for me.
If I'm looking for high quality and service then seasons. Otherwise theyre all the same.


NPGS home made stuff is much better than Gg imho

If I'm looking for a specific non hiemish brand the coop wont have it, but chances are seasons would (obviously a well eaten kosher brand) because the coop doesn't really sell non hiemish. Also meat is half the price at seasons. And the produce is fresher imho at seasons.

Didn't GG advertise once that they never carry cheap Bolivian meat. Implying that seasons do.

I'll admit there is a difference in the meat, but not nearly enough to make me buy American over imported and pay 50% more
