AMEX Reconsideration

I recently applied for an amex Mercedes-Benz cc and was turned down. The letter states it is due to to 1. too many creditors reviewing the report 2. payments in relation to overall balance and 3. past due activity with a.e.  As of April 28th my score was 746.

Does anyone know of the best way to go about trying to get it reconsidered? A regular phone call and begging? Write a letter or email? What has been your experience?

after seeing on an application status that i got approved, and now seeing a letter in my mail saying i was denied - for the SPG.

what should/can i tell them to get reconsidered? is it easy to get reconsidered with them?

I got a printout from their website saying it was approved. Then a letter said it's not.

Same here, but online should be a document saying that u got it. When i called them, they told me it was a mistake, basically i should just forget bout it. Should i try HUCA?

Is there such a thing as Amex recon.? They keep telling me there's nothing to do they cant approve one card even though they just approved 2 other cards. If I tell them to review it again will I be taking a risk that they're gonna pull again?

I risked the review, but the didn't pull again.
No luck so far.

I had an app that got canceled (cuz I had the same type of card within 3 months) I called and got them to reconsider - as I told them that I upgraded that card and its not a duplicate.

I got approved for it!!

Cancelled and Declined are two diff. things. I was asking about Declined.

I just did a 4BM 3 Personal and 1 Business, they froze 2 personals because I made multiple applications and they can't have a look at it until 4 days later.

Anyone ever have this?

It happened to me twice and my wife.

I applied for plat and delta. I was approved for plat and denied delta. Called and they say there's nothing they can do, since the info from my report isn't sufficient for them to approve me. Any advice?
