Yes. I corresponded with them beforehand to confirm that and they had no qualms at all.

Because they were so intrigued/preoccupied by them they also let in other packaged snacks at the bottom of that suitcase :)

If it is properly packaged (as in for retail sale), yes.

I just got back from a 'round the world trip and flew 3 airlines business class, here is me rating my experience

  • Lufthansa, pretty good, kosher meals pretty good too
  • Swiss, much better lie flat seats and the food was awesome, kosher meals included Swiss chocolate and a bunch of Swiss cheese, was great
  • Austrian Air; takes the cream of the crop, they have taken business class to a whole new level, with huge touch screens and the best seats yet, kosher meals was the best I had, with kosher fine wine and gigantic meals... Austrian airlines tops them all

+1 on Austrian business
Flew with them recently and the level of comfort in business and service dedicated to business class pax was better than I have ever experienced.
But lh has really disappointed me in almost every aspect in business class it felt for me like ba /vs/af premium economy
