I'm in a crunch I want make a decision about getting a Desktop in the next few hours.

Im open to suggestions I want a value Desktop that will last a few years that can support 2 screens and some large excel files

I never get AMD so i didn't look at the first one but the second is very good

it's still very different than windows 7 but they fixed the worst of it

I was told that it's not worth getting a desktop less than i7 if you sit and use your computer all day and you run alot of programs if someone can confirm this ?
