Everyone accepts CC (taxis you have to request a taxi with CC) Im not sure about the casino if you plan on playing you might need cash for that, and you probably want to bring for tips too

You need cash for the taxis. Everything else is credit card or charged to the room.

You can use CCs in a taxi just request a taxi that takes CC

I have a 1 king bed room booked with points at Grand Hyatt Bahamar. Does anyone have any tips for getting the room upgraded to a room with 2 beds or to a suite?

Looking to go to Grand hyatt Baha Mar. Anyone know which tower is better east or west? and is the residence preferred?

have a two night, 3 day trip from NYC. can got elsewhere.

Staying at Hyatt Baha Mar. trying to figure out activities. DW wants to do dolphins. Seems like only 8am options this week. Anyone have a place that does earlier or later in day?

The water park was really fun and free if you're staying at the Hyatt

Going to Bahamas in a couple weeks, what’s the best way to get from the Airport to Bahamar? Is taxi the way to go and what’s the approximate cost? Any have issues bringing in any food?

Taxi worked for me, it was cheap and quick.

anyone have experience if east or west has easier staircase access for shabbos? saw something about the west having an outdoor staircase.

How makpid is GH on number of folks in a room?

I read on FT they hand out bracelets to access the waterpark, so seemingly that could be an issue?

another reason the points option is so valuable there, I booked 4 in a room (2 beds) on points without increased cost (and without fees).

taxi drivers tend to overcharge the official rate. even if only by a few dollars.
before exiting the airport, there is an info desk and u can get the exact price (pp, luggage etc). when u exit, and see the taxi lines, they wont tell u how much until u get to hotel. make sure to confirm the price (before getting in). also, drivers will say they accept cc but when u get to hotel, they wont.
