Dash Cam - Any Recommendations?

any recommendations for a good micro SD card to go in a dashcam. I thought my cam broke but it turns out my SD was busted. apparently that can happen when using a regular card in a dashcam.

If it's not a BlackVue any decent card, at least the brand name SD cards all seem to work fine.

Where to buy an SD card? I heard it's best to stay off Amazon because fakes get mixed into inventory pretty easily

In my personal experience with the 6 dash cams I have across my own vehicles and friends that I put together for them, I purchased all the SD cards from Amazon only if it's sold and shipped by Amazon.
 So far they're working fine, though when I did have a problem I would just format the card and it would work fine.

 But not that it makes much of a difference as I remember hearing that if it's fulfilled by Amazon they mix the products in the same bins from FBA sellers?

Hmm, so much for a product saying buy only from fulfilled and sold by Amazon if you want an authentic product.

 Even everyday products for example, like tissues and plackers for your teeth.
 They clearly state if you want an authentic product make sure you buy from shipped and sold by Amazon which I do.

 But if in fact they're mixing in FBA sellers that's kind of a scam.
 Interesting noone took them up on this?!

I know an Amazon FBA seller who very often gets back different serial number returns from Amazon.

I use Nexar. Requires a smartphone. They have a front and interior dashcam idk about front and rear (although it's possible you can just put it in the back and it'll work fine)

when a dash cam on amazon says "batteries not included", that means it doesnt need batteries, or that baterries have to be bought separately?

i was told internal batteries can cause issues because they inflate in the heat.

The 2nd link is a cool one in regards to the backup camera for cars that don't have one. It uses the rear camera as a backup camera when parking, and the front one as the screen.

 While they all seem to be the same price, and similar in a way.

 Find one you like with features such as...
•24hr recording with a safety cut off switch to prevent the battery from draining in your car.
•Screen size and looks of the device.
•Stocker mounted or suction cup mounting.
If you do get a suction cup mounting make sure to put a little water on it to keep it from falling off.
• USB it USB-C wire.
• Make sure you can put any size As card inside or at least 64-128gb.


  Most important find one you like with decent reviews.

Anything that says endurance would be the best bet when using for a dashcam.
