Anyone know of a condo available in Tower 41?

I have three contacts but these are brokers.  Private people are very difficult to locate given that most people here are wealthy (second homes) and don’t want to deal with renters (even) for $2,000/week or more. The brokers know the few people who don’t mind renting. It’s really networking/searching classifieds and you can find your own. That’s how I got my rental in Carriage Club (see below). Here’s what I have:

If you prefer not to go through brokers, check “Flatbush Jewish Journal” classifieds going back months (Google it) and then check the year before or Yated etc. Check Jewish Press too. Torah Times etc

Side bar: anyone have a cleaning lady in the mid beach area? (These private renters insist on apartment being returned as it was received even if you pay for a cleaning person yes just like ABNB for most part; paying doesn’t mean it can be left messy ish like a hotel room.)

Awesome!  Check out Jungle Queen river boat on sunny day!  Great boat tour.  Stay away from Groupon ones where they sell you stuff and it’s in another language

Was there last year because it was much roomier and not jammed as the rest so decided to give it a shot, but I can say we were very satisfied. Ordered classic dishes and they were actually delicious! Service was great and prompt, I told my wife it seems they are not on the top list here but it turned out as a benefit for us, rather than a jammed place with long waiting times any day.

Interesting tidbid about the hechsher, the owner told me he used to have the OK but since many people asked him why he doesn't have KM he switched to KM, turns out that KM gives him an easier time than the OK, especially on checking for bugs. Wasn't very excited to hear that..

In general, KM has become a more lenient hashgacha. ORB has gotten much stricter over the last few years.

Both. ORB overhauled admin, and are trying to cater to the frummer crowd who has moved in over the last few years. KM, I don't know why they have gotten more lenient, but it's been trending in the direction for a little bit now.

Goes without saying, but no one should assume anything about hashgachos, especially OOT where you don't get the hear the local news regularly.

Speaking of which, Sushi Addicts in Hollywood is now under the ORB. Some of the better sushi in South FL.

On the hechsherim topic: do Lubavitchers generally consider ORB a good hechsher for meat (yes I know thats a subjective question with no good answer.. but clueless on the FL hechsherim scene)?

Restaurant

The meat itself is going to be subjective on personal hashkafos, but the overall restaurant most Lubavitchers are good with the hechsher. I say most because there are people who don't trust anything, especially down here, but that isn't because they know things about the ORB. It's usually because they don't know, and don't know/care to find out about the specifics that concern them.

As a general rule in FL, you can call in to ask the mashgiach which shchita is used for which dishes. A good amount of restaurants use Lubavitch, but Solomons and Alle have also become pretty popular in the restaurant kitchens.

It is, but the standards are by no means Lubavitch, and they'll be quick to tell you that. IME, they are very open (upon request) about what the standards are at the different establishments they certify.

There's a lot of imported Lubavitch meat being used. It may not be exclusive, so you always need to ask before you go.
