Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

How do I withdraw $$ to my bank account? I verified my bank account and I don't see an option to send directly to my bank account, or do I have to send it as a bill pay and put in my account number?
TY

(How long does the process take? I sent a payment to my Chase cc from bill pay and its 3 days and didn't show yet?)

FYI  and heads up to everyone here using chase credit cards to load RC's.
Chase is very much aware of all the $500 and $1000 charges and that they are for gift cards or what all the DDF'ers are doing.
They keep on declining these charges at Target for security concerns  and make you stay on the phone for a half hour verifying security questions etc, probabaly to discourage people from doing loads.
I have spoken to multiple friends about this and a lot of people are having this issues using chase CC's for RC loads, so just beware, I don't know if placing random number charges splitting them up will help or not, but that might be a way around this.
For example, placing charges of 893.26 and then 767.81 and then 838.93 might be a solution.
Any suggestions would be helpful for the Oilam.

+1 to multiple fraud alerts. But who said that is the reason. Maybe it is just repeat charges of even amounts

I would imagine from their perspective, ( and im playing devils advocate here..) because they're not in the business of giving out free points and miles...as much as they get in the annual fees and interest and theyre making a lot of $$, most ddf'ers dont pay the AF they close the card as soon as points post and then open up new cards every 3 months etc.

I guess its a matter of opinion, how did the vr's end?? you have to be oblivious to think that the credit card companies are stupid and wont eventually catch on.
Yes we will always find a way to out smart the system, but its going to become harder and harder, in the meantime lets live it up and enjoy while we can..

Anyone try to register (either on purpose) or by accident using a different name than the one tied to your ssn? Like using Dovy instead of David or Moshe instead of Moses?

question 2 - anyone try to register a card for a family or friend and have issues with getting ID approved? If so what did you do?

Using the FT method I just have the cashier do the last swipe as 494 instead of $500. TO the credit card they only see one swipe of $2494
