Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

When there's a coupon for $X off if spending over $XX, then it usually works on VGCs.  Occasionally, such as a week or 2 ago, they have $XX off if buying $XXX of Visa or MC GCs.
Right now there's nothing.  So use your Ink for 5 pt/$ at office supplies.

Hello, I cannot seem to find a definitive answer and sorry if that question has been asked before. But going though 200+ is juts too much :-)

Can you load the RB using sub-account card?

Thank you!

Let us know how it goes.

Success.  You can liberate a Redcard from one participating store and activate it in another participating store.  This is not a comment on whether you should or whether its yihareg vilo yaavor or dina dimalchusa dina or chamutcha brecher or anything else, just that you can...

It's 200 transactions AND $20,000 that triggers the 1099.  http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=45709.msg1027425#msg1027425

Added!
There is no tax event in loading your RedCard.  Even if it was reportable, it would only get a 1099 if, in a year, you did more than 200 transaction AND gained more than $200,000.

Is that clear, or it needs fixing?

Which target location?

CS or reg cashier?

I just want to prepare myself when I go in for the first time...

Do they know what they are doing by now or do you still have to give them instructions?
