Also, some airlines have a free hold of 24 hours before you pay for the ticket. I think once you pay, your 24 hour cancellation window is over.

Im my example, Singapore does not allow holds. I believe the law is not so clear cut with point tickets

I Booked a Aegean flight (one way) ATH-WAW via United using travel credits they charged me 72 USD more then if i would have booked straight from Aegean
if i call them would they price match the listed price from Aegean?

I sprung for it. Partly because I remembered a flight credit I had. Chatted to convert to ETC, and upgraded. (FFC has to be applied at time of purchase. ETC can be used for upgrades.)
