I had my interview in CLE.
Other locations were booked for 10+ weeks.

They confirmed my location and duration of employment.
They asked why I wanted Global Entry.
They also asked if I'm planning international travel.

They fingerprint all 10 fingers (4 R and 4 L and then the 2 thumbs together)
The whole thing was approx 12 minutes total.
Confirmed Duration of employment: they called your employer ?

How long did it take for your application to be reviewed before scheduling your appt?my bad been pending for over 1 week!

It was less than a week. Check your status by logging into your GOES account.

just a verbal question and answer. They have the address and phone number, so it's easy to call. Casual guy, very smooth.

IIRC they send you an email when there is a status change.

No but you could keep on checking if someone cancelled, or just come and hope that they will take you in.

Mine took a week or 2 but when I did for some family members it was next day. You don't need to check every day. You'll get an email that the status changed or something along those lines.

that's considered very good. My appointment was the first one at 6 weeks out, and many places now have openings only 8-10 weeks from now.

When I checked EWR it was about a month out so I went back to JFK. This was Thursday and they had something for the following Monday. Later on in the day something opened up for Friday (the next day) so I took it.

that's good. Some of the airports that I looked at in May -- including Dallas since I was flying to DFW anyway -- were booked through July/August or September.

Availability for GE appointments are very much like airlines, availability changes often. Check every once in a while to see if any availability opened up.

They also take walk-ins if there's an empty slot. If you're at the airport anyway it might make sense to "pop-in" and see if they have any availability.
