I wanted to apply for the Sapphire account again. I'm not exactly sure when I closed my previous one. Has anyone had an issue reapplying for the card within 24 months of getting the previous one. (The official rules say that you can only get the bonus once every 24 month).
If yes is there a way to see exactly how long ago I got the bonus to know if Im in the clear?
TIA

If you're approved for the CSP you'll get the bonus.

If they give you an issue, it'll be too many new cards in general in the past 24 months. (If that applies to you)

Thank you greatly appreciate it.
Hoping for no issues. Worst case hopefully they will transfer some of my open CL from my Freedom.

Just don't call & tell the rep you had it within 24 months & you want to get it again. :)

Rep. Is telling me that when you downgrade SP to a no AF card, the $95 AF after 60 days is pro rated only.
I though chase gives full manual refund into 160 days.
Is this a case of DROPR ?

Someone posted a screen shot that clearly showed them saying 180 days. I think it was D93

They told me that too. But I received the full refund from Chase.

A few bloggers and Reddit claim that SP is going up to 50,000 today. You should be able to SM to match if you recently applied under a 40K link. Keep an eye out.

Awesome!!! Any update about the supposed 60k for private clients?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Im talking after the fact. I was only refunded 2/3rds  of the AF back, even though the original rep who downgraded the card, told me I'm getting a full refund.
They opened a case, to go back and check the phone records. I'll update on what happens.

The 50K bonus is great, but of course most people here have at least 5 new accounts in the past 24 months.

I have to cancel some Chase cards in order to save on the yearly fees. I am thinking about getting rid of SP and keeping Ink and United. Does SP have any advantage over these cards?

SP > UA

You can also downgrade your SP to Freedom.
