I don't think it's that black and white, but obviously they see some things as riskier than others. They probably won't like anything that'll seem to them like some sort of cash advance.

& if you get F/R & pass, would you say that one can continue to do that, or do you have a hunch they will shut you down??

im in the exact same position as Jay..what i can prove is a fraction of what i actually wrote. after they see that whats the worst that could happen? just deny the cc? or red flag me so that i cant get anymore for a while?

results are in. out of my four amex cards they emailed me about changes to 3 of them - the charge cards.
i sent in proof of 6500$ income from last year.

they using that info alone (no bank statements)
they cut my charge card limit to
3000 on my personal gold
3000 on my business gold
5000 on my business platinum

i have yet to see what became of my starwood tho?... probably similiar limit but here's to hoping to keep the 18.7k!

Nicely done, Mazal Tov! Finally proof that you can survive (beat?) an F/R with low income (in at least some instances, at least we know it's possible).

Regarding your SPG, you can see your available credit line right when you log onto Amex.com.

F/R'd again Dammit!

They want a 4056T and a letter confirming the address on a bank letterhead to process the application!
I 2BM'd MB & PRG and they said I would have been auto approved if not for a bleeping discrepancy in the address!
oh well!
I guess just MB Plat will have to be enough for now
I just hope they don't decide to wait 8 weeks on the points cuz I'm gonna be in a rush!

Does the address on the app match the address associated with tie other AMEX accounts?
If yes, just ask them to match it.

i didn't receive my cards yet as i'm overseas, but as soon as i get back i'll check. the thing is the entire time they were reviewing me, i spoke to 4 people, each one i asked what is a "worst case scenario" and they said so long as you send in your 4506T "we won't close your accounts!" - they did say they might apply limits. B"h tho i can now say i'm a survivor!

i think he was under a minor fr not so much about income more about id and they want tax papers for id
