Thoughts on reason to give to amex for wanting to have Platinum card and PG if they ask why not just get plat only?

Just got Amex delta didn't need to close Starwood to get approved. Looking to close Starwood. Should I just transfer credit to delta and close or downgrade? If downgrade to what? Thanks!

PRG earns 3 points on travel. You can tell them you want to have the perks of the Plat and the rewards benefits of the Gold because you do a lot of traveling.

I reapplied for the chase freedom and was denied because I have no credit history.
I called again and was given a credit line!

I applied for the Marriott Premier, Hyatt, and SP. I got the 50k and free night for marriott, two free nights from hyatt, and am waiting for the SP points to post. My question is now, is there any benefit in keeping the marriott and hyatt as I keep the status for the year? Should I close and consolidate credit and wait a couple of months and reaaply?

Close em next time you apply for cards.

When did you apply for them? Credits good? Go for another SP, United Explorer, and BA?

When churning cards with chase do you get more leverage with closing a card or transfering credit. What I am really asking is if I have two chase accounts that I would like to close, should I keep them and wait until I do my next 3bm or should I close them and transfer the CL to a different card that I am going to keep? Am I essentially doing the same thing or does one give me a better chance when I call recon?
