oh... question is I just did 2bm with chase less about a month ago and starwood biz about 4 months...so not sure if I should wait another 2 months (30 days after renewal is charged) or do it now so I can churn starwood personal sooner? What you think?

My father got a Targeted offer for 75k on biz gold after $5000 spend.

He got it a few days ago and its valid until Feb 16.

I tryed it and it said the offer is no longer valid, so I called and rep tryd but it does not work.
She said maybe its too new, does that make any scene?

Can I SM amex with copy he has no amex at the moment?

is the freedom special for chase bank account holders (extra 10 points per trans and 10%) still going? if yes, do I get the promo automatically by simply signing up for the freedom card? or I would have to do it from a special link?

I would like to close my Starwood personal card, which I have since 09. I know it's a great card, but U have the Biz and would like to be able to churn it. While I could downgrade I prefer to use it as leverage for Delta and possible blue cash Preffered. Question, I did a 2bm from chase just over a month ago. Is it better to wait a little so not have to many applications for credit do close to each other? I would like to use the credit from my Starwood card instead of closing it entirely 1st? Worth mentioning, the Starwood has only $2400 cl, which makes me wonder if Amex doesn't like me to much, hence reason to tread more carefully. It's the only personal credit card I ever with them. Gold is charge card. Although my credit score surely has improved a lot since I opened the card.??

I had the same problem with the limit. I had a 3k and called and asked for an increase. Instant approval to 10k be"h.

Did you get snail mail offer ? FEB 16 what year on offer . Sounds like a certain HUCA till you get past

I do not think its indicative of how much they like you. probably more to do with how much you spend on the card.

i love this site, very informative.
just applied (through the links on this site of course, and 3 browsers) for the chase sapphire preferred, ink bold and ink plus, it said i would get a response within 10 days, i hope i get accepted to all of them.
