They said they normally don't do it but because th Hotel waas ok with it, they could. Just call the hotel first and ask them. They won't even know what you're talking about.

out of curiosity...when are you trying to book for? We are planning to go in Aug and waiting for our free nights to come thru from chase.

The park hyatt used to be very helpful and open up avail. I got them to open up 2 rooms for 4 days in august last year, they even opened a deluxe room for me as ffn. I was a diamond (earned the hard way) so that helped as well.

Like everything, if to many people do it, it does not work anymore.not to many guys had ffn and diamond, so the requests were limited. Now its much easier to get the free nights through a credit card, so they get such a request from a trial diamond quite often and they will not do it anymore.
