Can someone explain what the NYP's problem is? Cause that op-ed (and the article it's based on) seem to be describing pretty standard stuff. A guy who does debt relief campaigns for a judge who is known to go easy on debtors.
I think the implication is that for a fee or some connection you can get your case heard by that judge who will always rule in your favor.
No idea if the fixer actually did that.
