Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

If not for teachers, you would probably be illiterate.

See that? You're sounding like a professor again, the way you're sympathizing with teachers. :)

all atm.
Actual ATM withdrawal limit is 750 daily/2000 monthly. You would need to make 2 withdrawals since the ATM itself has a maximum $400. I wouldn't advise doing it, as it is likely Amex would regard as suspicious behavior, especially if it is immediately after a load.

I'm sure a good percentage of those with redcards have been withdrawing the max for months, and I have yet to hear of anyone being shut down because of it.

Has anyone noted a risk for using the funds on the redcard to pay the c.c. bill used to fund? on either the c.c or redcard end?
