Funny cuz the Cleveland people I speak to say they like that more Yidden are moving in.
They say its good for the community in Ruchniyis and Gashmiyis
It's good to a point, but we certainly don't need more people who have a bad attitude. Over the years the number of people who ignore your Good Shabbos greeting has increased proportionally with growth from NY/NJ. But overall people do assimilate nicely.
Schools are bursting at the seams. Housing costs are up by 50-80% in a decade. Unchecked growth has consequences. Infrastructure hasn't kept pace with the growth and people that are moving here aren't entrepreneurs opening new Jewish infrastructure. They're in medicine or going to Kollel, which is great, but something has to give.
And the Clevelanders kvetching about NY/NJ drivers on FB is pretty hilarious and is only going to get worse. Change isn't easy!
