What Purim did to the Jewish world Thanksgiving is doing to the US
Amazing! All you hear (on ms media) is the world is ending, hospitals are straining, cases are surging yet there are only ~ 650 less flights then last year. Even if they are at half cap that is still a ton of people that either don't care or have moved on. The question is, when do we get to stop hearing this non-stop death talk?
In the US? Will never happen
We need a "Random Covid Posts" thread. It amazes me that the Covid cancellers come out in full force right when the numbers are at their record highs and only getting worse. It's almost like the numbers trigger something primal. Maybe it's an ostrich gene.
Say what you want about cases, but there are 88k+ hospitalized right now, and there have been more deaths today so far (not all numbers are in yet) than any day since May 6. But sure, keeping our weddings out of the media should be our greatest concern.
Has there been a surge in covid in Williamsburg? The wedding was about 2 weeks ago. Data should start arriving around now.
There are those that feel that epidemiological conditions in South Dakota and Utah have no bearing on conditions in KJ and Williamsburg, due to the fact that intermingling of the respective populaces with each other is basically nil. Nobody in BP carries umbrellas when there are monsoons in Cambodia.

Quotes in a signature is annoying, as it comes across as an independent post.
