Here's my problem,
june 28th from EWR to MIA

BA says no availability between 6/27 and 7/4. AA shows availibilty on 6/28. How do I get it to show up on BA?

@Dan what do you mean? You can't book a stopover with BA on AA flights? Or it just dosent show up online and you'd have to call?

You would have to book each one seperate.

I discussed doing a booking NYC-DFW-EGE they told me its 25k, no difference if my final destination is in DFW or in EGE.
So what do you mean?

When using AA miles, you "pay" per trip - not per segment.  When using BA miles, each segment is considered a separate trip.

Basically AA awards allows stopovers and BA awards don't.

Right. Called back, they say 10k LGA to DFW, 7,500 DFW to EGE.
Does it still make sense to use avios for that trip? There is no direct.
And I may find availability if I do LGA-DFW on first and DFW-EGE on coach, which would be almost 80k avios round trip. Does that make sense??

I'm confused. When I go to AA.com I see non-stop availability EWR-MIA.

Me thinks it's a moot question as you won't get the award availablity anyways

Maybe it's recent, if you look at revenue tickets they clearly sell non-stop ewr-mia

Yea that's what I thought I was seeing but I'm no pro and when I asked here for help bec its not showing up on BA, Dan shot me down.

Then you posted confirming that they do indeed fly direct so I was even more confused.
