REDCard provides a routing number and account number for making direct deposits, as if it were a bank account. It explicitly says those numbers
cannot be used for
outgoing transactions, such as paying bills; only incoming deposits. Well, sometimes, when you want to link your bank account to something (for example, Google wallet), they make two small deposits and make you verify the amounts... but then they draw their few cents right back out. For example, they'll deposit 10 cents and 19 cents, and then withdraw 29 cents. So what happens when they try to take back their precious 29 cents from REDCard? Will REDCard block the withdrawal, causing Google Wallet (or whoever) to get pissed at me? Will REDCard themselves get pissed at me, and close my account for "improper transaction" or something? Will all go well? Will the earth crash into the sun?
