Anybody tried the new Pizza shop next-door yet?
First experience was very good - especially by 5t pizza standards! For reference, I like my pizza sauce more savory (think Amnon's, Pizza Nosh) than sweet (think Mendelsohn's, Bravo), so if your tastes align with mine you'd like this place. Also, we ordered out so I cant comment on the ordering process or setup.
The regular pizza crust is a bit floppy, but the sauce and cheese were very good. I'd personally ask for it a bit more well done next time. On the oilier side as well.
The onions on the fried onion slice were caramelized very well, and unlike many other shops, did not fall off with every bite. Also very good.
Vodka/fresh mozzarella slice was the best slice I had and unique. Definitely worth a try.
Garlic knots were actual garlic knots, not the mini rolls soaked in garlic oil that most places offer. Delicious.
Both the regular fries and spicy fries were crispy and held up well.
The mozzarella sticks had a really strange breading. I consider myself a connoisseur but I've never seen ones like these. Not a fan.
So happy to have another option here, cant wait to see what other stores open in that plaza!
