Are they annoyed? Yes. Does that portray a thoughtful electorate with specific needs and values, to be reckoned with when the (local?) political need arises? Also yes.
Compare that with the image of uneducated, racist, gun toting bigot rednecks in pickup trucks. There's no 'electable views' there.
