But didn't it say the same language excluding charities last year as well, and didn't it work anyway?

Does anyone know if there's been any indication from Amex as to when registration will open? I'm only asking because I just received an email solicitation from a tzedakah, which says "Since registration will not open until November 18th, if you submit your card before then, we will gladly register it for you once registration opens."

Earlier in the thread, Dan mentioned that schools that are listed as educational institutions and not charities would be included. Please correct if I am wrong.

From what I can tell, the same language from AMEX that excludes charities also excludes educational organizations.

"Businesses in the following industries are excluded: government agencies, charities, non-profits, trade associations, shopping property management firms, political, religious and educational organizations."

What am I missing? I would love to help out my local school, I just can't afford to do it without AMEX's help...
