You really think SBS is the only promo worth having lots of AUs for?! Have you been living under a rock this past year??!!

All those other promo's are just not as simple straight cash as SBS, y'know all those shmasebook Twitter link mayses, CMIIW.
The only somewhat similar one I can think of, was the Fedex Facebook promo last year (as opposed to this past years').

No, I never really either got it till now.  Just that, people probably like when others are upfront if they have an agenda or self-interest in to why they are promoting a particular business on DDF.  Most people automatically think, that the person must have had a good experience there etc.. or saw low prices etc..  But most people are not assuming that the DDF'er has a particular agenda.  Just sayin'.

Oh please, @rots5 you're too nice to come across as sly.  I don't recall you lying or being dishonest, it's quite obvious you're an extremely well-meaning guy, I'd say your general tone exemplifies true אהבת ישראל.  No hard feelings at all, I just thought it was interesting..

And believe me, I wouldn't call you're posts (that promoted the business) "pushy" to the slightest, there's been plenty of those from others.. your's don't go near, they don't even enter that category..

I thought the $300 cash was net, i.e. did not include the $200 statement credit I assume he got.  If it was indeed like what you said then he got $200 giftcards, 3K SPG and $100 statement credit.

just want to say I had a great experience with the restaurant guy both this year and last year. I ordered some gift cards to wolf and lamb and today i see that Mikes bistro is available I emailed him if i could send them back and exchange and he did it no problem.

According to THIS math, I would have $200 gift card (which I have) $375 cash (but I only got $300 so far)

ETA: just woke up to a message in my american express inbox that they are giving me the full $125 for my last 5 cards making the total
$425 cash. (for 15 cards)

i emiled amex last week bec one of the cards never recieved the 25$ cr and they emailed me back that  they will credit me the money but the issue was that they billed amex on sunday making it not included on sbs! wonder if this was by mistake or a clean scam  rtype

rhry gave me the cr they said yes we see ur purchase to this and this store was done on the 25tg

amex told me that they were re imbursing ppl who used mastercards on sbs at stores that were on last yrs sbs list but list wasnt updated ans some stores didnt take amex so ppl used mc and amex reimbursed them 25$
