Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Is it just me, or is IB site a PITA? Claims no flights between NYC and PIT.

ETA: Getting the same error for ORD-PIT. Could it be AA flights don't show on IB.com?
IME recently aa domestic flights don't show up on ib.com

If I use Avios to Book Cathay seats, can I cancel the tickets or only within 24 hours for full mileage redeposit, or is there a fee?

Trying for months already, never had AA flights show up on IB site, when calling, Spanish reps claim you can't book AA with avios..

Looks like it will cost "The lower of taxes paid ($5.60 on domestic one-way awards) or $55."  As per: http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/85765

I booked 2 AA flights using BA miles, and the 1st flight ended up being cancelled, rendering the 2nd flight also useless. I called AA from the airport, and ultimately an AA supervisor told me she had contacted BA and BA would be refunding my miles and taxes for the 2 flights. It is now a month later and I haven't gotten any refund. AA is now telling me they can't do anything as it was BA miles. Does anyone have any advice of the best way to proceed from here?

Same itinerary, or booked separately?

Sounds like a tough situation. Call BA. Ultimately AA can't control BA refunds

Hmm. Makes it more complicated. Might require a HUCA to BA.

On British showing Cathay availability only for "Premium Economy"?  Is there a possibility that as close in they will let it as reg economy seats? They are charging same as business for the Premium economy?

I reread my question, yup its confusing:)

Basically I want to book 6 seats for 2 weeks out. They are only showing premium economy, question is if there is a likeliness then close in they will open up more reg economy seats? (In other words if economy is showing zero and premium showing 10+, what are the likeliness that some reg economy millage amounts will open up?

Five of us will travel BOS-DUB via EI in August, all booked with BA Avios.

I have 4 of us booked on the 9pm flight and 1 of us on the 6pm. We can live with this separation, but would prefer to fly together if it can be done without additional cost.

Now, I see that there appears to be availability for 4 pax on the 6pm flight, at least based on the UA website.

I can call BA and ask them to change the 4 pax to the 6pm flight, but I know that they will want a change fee of $55 per person, which I'm not prepared to do.

Any advice on how to get them to make the change without the fee? (There does not appear to be award space available on the 9pm flight.)

About a month ago, several of you provided helpful advice -- thank you. However, we remain in the same situation (me on the 1800 and rest of family on the 2100 flight BOS-DUB), and now neither flight is available to book.

BA agents say I just need to keep calling back to find out if it may open up, but they cannot contact Aer Lingus to ask them to release a seat to Avios.  Is there any hope that I might get an agent who will call Aer Lingus to release it? I'll HUCA if there's any chance it will work.

I can't speak to the Cathay situation in particular, but in general, if you can grab 6 seats on the flight you want and you can afford the premium economy, why not just take it?

You really need to learn english, three question marks in your originally query mean three different questions, which I responded to here
1)What exactly is your question?
2)Yes.
3)No.

You just repeated your second question, which was already answered.
If i understand your incorrect grammar correctly, the red text you're asking IF there is a chance, the answer is yes there is a chance.
Then in your other green words you ask a different question, what are the odds that some economy seats will open up.
I'm not sure of the exact answer but i think Dan would put it at 31.7%
