Their community is posting videos claiming they cannot catch the virus and are refusing to self isolate, making it more likely the virus will continue to spread quickly.

The allegations are completely false. Lakewood has on the whole been way MORE vigilant than the rest of Ocean County for the last week, preceding even the governor’s executive order. Also, there is a lot of anti Semitic sentiment being expressed in the comments, including some from ostensible health care workers. I fear they will believe this drivel and withhold some of their attention and care, even subconsciously. We cannot allow this to happen.

Please take a moment to report the violations to change.org. It is clearly defamatory, hate speech, and false and misleading.

And they don't have even the basic facts right. They want to hold "Mayor Lichtenstein" accountable. Lakewood's mayor is Ray Coles. Lichtenstein, whose first name is Meir, hasn't been mayor for roughly 10 years.

This is an anti semitic post. 99.99% of the Lakewood community is locked down in their houses are not venturing out. They are locked down more than the law requires. When you have a community of over 100,000 people and you see a few people outside, that represents .0001%. You completely ignore the hundreds of weddings canceled, Bar Mitzvahs canceled, shopping canceled. No, you focus on the few bad apples. Because non-Jews don't have bad apples of course, only Jews do. Please be a little more broad minded than that.

im knocking this smear -a -community post and haven’t bashed the rabbanim etc. Antisemitism needs to be called out  immediately wherever it shows it’s ugly face. Simple as that. And believe me, I’m not one to cry wolf all the time.
