BDE R' Baruch Yehuda Leibovitz, Z”l, the eldest son of the Nikolsburger Rebbe from Monsey, brother of Yoeli Lebovitz (badchen), who was niftar on Monday in Yerushalayim, at the age of 47. Several weeks ago, he contracted COVID and was hospitalized in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition, until his petirah on Monday.

Indeed. At the same time they are fortunate to have been able to celebrate his release together, and experience life together afterwards. Not that it detracts from anything you said.

Not the case based on what I saw. Also regarding Esther Pollard, as far as I understand she was battling cancer.

Both are terrible tragedies, and both seem to have contracted COVID-19, I'm just not sure if that's the ultimate cause of death.
