I think that absolutely the ability to sue businesses for corona is very important. There are many businesses forcing their employees to work in unsafe conditions or refuse to give them masks, etc. Gross negligence should always be open for lawsuits. But at the same time, I would like the gov to set a high bar for what is considered a liability. For example - if an employee is not allowed to wear a mask, or isn’t provided with a mask and gets sick, let him sue the employer dry. But otherwise, let it slide. I think from a customer perspective, I can’t find a lot of examples, but if an essential store allows workers to walk around without masks, and one coughs on a customer, that is gross negligence and they should be liable.
