The US is like a fabulously wealthy guy who's been divorced 3 times and insists on giving relationship advice. He's successful, so you listen, and he has experience, so some of what he says may be helpful, but if he's going to tell people to do exactly what he did to have a successful relationship, you better believe they're gonna bring up his relationship history.
