AFAIK there is no indication that the Rebbe ever approved of an eruv in CH. The Rebbe did write to people that were going to establish an eruv elsewhere that it should be done secretly (to save those that will carry anyways, but not to get more people used to carrying, which would present a problem when the eruv is down).

I heard that he supported it to be made in CH, but only if it could be done secretly. Could be wrong info though.

Regarding other places where other Rabbonim wanted to establish an eruv, the Rebbe expressed his opinion that it should be done secretly. There are actual letters of the Rebbe to that effect.

It's a touchy subject with various interpretations.
But at any rate, there were times the Rebbe encouraged the creation of an eruv, but for it to be a secret so that people don't rely on it. There are also times the Rebbe said to build and not to build an eruv, with various differing factors in play.

Notably, Kfar Chabad has an eruv which was supported by the Rebbe. @ExGingi likely has more insight than I do if the locals use it.

I never suggested otherwise. Would still be interesting whether the shochtim all self-identify as Lubavitchers and/or are all seen by others (conventionally) as Lubavitchers.

Like every other "group" in Am Yisroel, Lubavitcher chassidim are not a monolith. Individuals within each group have kashrus specifications based on mesorah, hergesh, or guidance from their LOR. There are Lubavitchers who will eat anything that is Glatt, some who will only eat with specific hechsherim (Chassidish, Lubavitch, etc.), and some who will eat from specific shochtim.

Someone can agree a certain type of food is healthy, and still choose not to eat it based on their personal reasons (reactions, diet, etc.). L'havdil, a Lubavitcher can say something is 100% kosher and still have reasons not to want to put it into their body. No irony.
