A survey cited by Channel 12 news finds that the majority of Israelis do not believe Israel should negotiate a ceasefire now.

The poll finds that 72% say “the operation should continue,” with the number rising slightly in the south of the country to 73%.

the international forces that ended the holocaust only entered it after they felt that their own sovereignty and lives were being threatened

till then they sat quietly on the side while jews were getting slaughtered

every other case of international "peace keepers" (i.e. lebanon etc.) who were there just to preserve world peace and not because their homeland was threatened have done little or nothing to stop violence. and in many cases at the first hint of violence packed their bags and left

there is and never was any country with the death penalty who can claim anything close to such numbers

and when the sages saw that the cases of murder were rising, they abolished capital punishment, so as not to have to fulfil a high amount of convictions.
