Help me understand why most of these rockets can't be taken out on the ground. We are talking about thousands. Are they that small they are easy to hide?

For some reason, this is hurting me more than the rocket attacks. Like most other people here, I have plenty of family in Israel under attack right now. It's scary and emotional and I find myself thinking that we should blow them all to hell and worse. But all those feelings are tempered by the expectation that this is life for a Jew, and especially in Israel. This is how terrorists act. I can rationalize being attacked and persecuted. 3500 years of torment and suffering makes it par for the course. This is golus. But this...? It tears me apart. Who have we become? We've been in the zoo too long and forgotten which side of the fence we stand on.

Yes, they pull them out of buildings/schools/hospitals and shoot them right away. They can't have eyes on the whole Gaza strip

They are on trucks, launched from really congested residential streets. there are videos of the trucks moving and launching from gaza.

Yes, they are easy to hide and quick to set up. Doesn't take long for them to be taken out of storage and fired. And Israel does take out launch sites, but that most often means taking out schools, hospitals, etc. which they won't do.

There are 10s of thousands hidden throughout gaza in small caches in civilian buildings and underground tunnels.

Not just Arab. I believe many come in pieces and are assembled in Gaza, and I think they do make some of their own stuff from raw materials.

If only it were that simple. Sending in ground troops and taking everything out would take a long time, with many lives lost on both sides, and 100% negative international reaction towards Israel.
