Blah blah this is about execution.
Execution? You didn't think there were going to be executions once we pulled out? You didn't think the Taliban would have total control of the country once we pulled out?

Not sure if this is tongue and cheek but he meant how the plan was carried out type of execution.

I knew what he meant.  :)
I guess it would be better for the same thing to happen over months instead of days? The result is exactly the same.
The problem was the decision to pull out.

Assuming Taliban would take over no matter who was president - you believe there was no smoother way for the US to pull out?

The result is not the same, this botched pull out is the reason people who should have been evacuated are being killed.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

I was against the pullout under the last admin and this admin so the point about a smooth pull out is moot.

This is the result of "America First". Are you all of a sudden against that policy? Get Americans out and let the rest fend for themselves!!!

With a unpredictable Trump, the Taliban wouldn’t behave this way.

I never said he was. This pull out was your classic "America First". So what is the problem?
Didn't Americans get out and the rest left to be slaughtered?

Just because you (and I) are against the pullout doesn't mean that once it is being done it makes no difference how poorly it is managed.

With some planning the Americans there would not have been in the danger they are now in and many locals who we are scrambling to help could have been taken care of.

I am neither for or against pulling out but hard to ignore a botched pullout. Do whatever you gonna do but at least do it right. The results were nothing close to what was promised.
