Did anyone actually have success using the credits?

I previously tried ordering one with referral credits, and there wasn't any way for me to apply the credit, it would only charge the cc.

Last night, I was with someone else as they tested it again, and it still wouldn't pull from the credits, there wasn't a way to select them.
He went as far as having the revel as arrive, letting $10 down the drain for the sake of testing.

Is this dead? All recent codes seem to say available only at initial sign up. Showing total credit of $140 (though I won't be surprised if we hear of claw backs).

Want to let folks know I signed out on one phone and signed in on another and my name and credits did not immediately show but after a minute it all populated. Thought the goose was cooked.

Before and during the ride it looks like it's taking from the credit card.
Afterwards it takes from the credits

Seems to only work on new accounts. If you've ever rode with that account, it won't let you add new codes.

Someone in the comments said he used it from LGA last night.

I know someone else who used it from LGA-CH. The cost before the codes would have been $92, so I don't see it being a good option once the codes are used up.
