Fairly minor story, imo. He meant to say that the founding fathers would agree that an election result that was based on a faulty premise and only occurred due to mass corruption maliciously and illegally hiding information about a candidate that would have returned a totally different result should be rerun, just like a trial that returned a verdict based on false evidence would be retried. Do I think Trump is generally nuts, infantile, sickeningly narcissistic and solipsistic, and overall a distasteful and nasty person? Certainly. Do I think these statements are such a major story that should be a game changer to those supporting him thus far, or considering him the better of the two evils? Nah.
