There's limited to no scientific proof regarding probiotic supplements
My father, a pharmacist of 30+ years doesn't believe it helps nor does a GI friend who has scoped thousands and is an expert on collitis, he doesn't believe they survive the journey to the intestines.
Another GI friend who said I might see relief said "i don't know If it will help but it won't hurt"
What helps ;
Hydration yes but also miralax, specifically you can take miralax in the morning and evening
Fiber is critical but will make matters worse if you are constipated
Wine is dehydrating you and thus that and matza is hardening your stool like paroh's heart
For me, I use something called Ibgard that is little peppermint capsules and soothes your digestive tract
Warm water and lemon in the morning as suggested is also effective
Cheers and I'm back to my cave
