What a laugh! All of a sudden all you guys come out of the woodwork to condemn me for working the system?  ;D ;D ;D

Finally, you admit you're trying to work the system.

Apparently in the letter above they wrote that they only compensate if the delay is over 4 hours.
It appears at this point that your delay will be 3.5 hours...  :(

I doubt it's on purpose, but they try as hard as they can for under 4 hrs.
They're prob just trying their best to get you to your destination --
I just remembered that timeframe for his letter (link below) However, if it's 4+ hours delay, then you may very well be compensated... (after the fact..)

Airline: United
Flight: TLV-BRU-EWR-CLE-ZRH-TLV
Class: Economy
Incident: Called to confirm KSML 3 days b4 booking and was told there was no ticket due to the point that I didn't confirm it after 24 hrs even though it said nothing in the email about calling them. Called to take care of it and got a very rude supervisor on the phone that helped nothing.
Compensation: $250 travel certificate. Way too little in my opinion

You are now over 4 hours (as we figured would happen). Good luck - Hopefully at least now you'll be compensated.

thank you so much. they still wanted me to arrive at the regular scheduled departure times just in case they somehow get a flight out on time. seemed like a good time to use my united club passes. lots of school work to do and unlimited beer! what could be bad!!!  :D

good that you were productive and enjoyed the work time...
1) I'd still try to get some compensation
2) In the future, if you're in a rush you could take the earlier flight LAX > IAD and then a 20-30 minute cab ride (esp at 2am) to get your car in the BWI lot.
