Thanks, I'll keep trying. I gather the availability on aa.com is generally more trustworthy than ba.com?
Any reason to check the latter?

Availability should be the same, AA is easier to see

IME aa often has better available and u have to PUTPAC ba to book. Also look for exact route i e jfk-ord as apposed to nyc-chi

i see 6 seat available on aa.com, milesaver direct
lax - jfk
6/11 - 6/16

BA doesn't show any availability for even 2 seats

called and they said there is no seats available
they are different then AA and have different mileage availability

i'm on wait, trying again.
 
is there a point in pushing, speaking to a supervisor? can they "find" availability

its roundtrip so the 6/16 is jfk - lax

AA should refund your flights within 24 hours if booked within 7 days of departure.

I noticed recently MIA -YUL ba charging 37500 avios in business. I was eventually able to book it for 20k avios.

Now I am looking at lax -PBI on 6/23 redeye and again it is 37500 in business.

What am I missing is there a way to book this for 20k? Is it  a mistake?

It is interesting though, for a while I was only able to get 37500 for business to montreal from MIA and then it came back to 20k. I tried to recreate the 37500 but its always 20 now as you have on the chart.

Pbi/lax is a new nonstop and they only use the 738 like the yul flights so  I thought it would be the same. I assume i'st more because of the distance?

I use to always see the option to pay avios and cash.
I cant seem to find that option now. I only have the option to pay with avios in full.
 I usually have the option to pay less where the avios cost me about 1.3 cents.

any ideas how to bring that up?
